The Recruiter in Training will successfully complete a 6-week training course that includes computer based learning modules, tests and cold calling activities in order to coordinate the placement of nurses and surgical technicians into healthcare facilities nationwide. After successful completion of the 6-week training course, the Recruiter in Training will transition to a Recruiting Specialist.
Cold call and interview healthcare professionals to verify qualifications, skills, suitability as well as identification of needs and preferences such as location, shift, type of assignment, call, availability, etc.
Work collaboratively with other departments to place Travelers and provide ongoing customer service throughout the assignment.
Provide support to enhance positive working relationships with Travelers telephonically and electronically.
Utilize social networking sites in a sales capacity to generate new leads.
Negotiate and effectively explain salary and terms and conditions of employment with Travelers.
Experience and Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Sales, Marketing or related preferred. 6 months to 1 year of experience in the direct sales of products or services. Experience in successful customer service, public contact, Microsoft Word, Outlook, Internet and general business software applications. Ability to negotiate and problem solve, persuade and sell.
